  • How do I care for my woven wall hanging?
Hang it on a flat surface out of reach of children or pets. In a humid or steamy room the fibres can change shape and it might become a little droopy. Any cooking smells nearby can also cling to the fibres, so bear that in mind when choosing a location. Woven wall hangings are not washable. For spot cleaning, I recommend using warm water and a light detergent to patch test on the same fibre on the back first. Treat it very delicately! If the fringing becomes crumpled, you can use the steam only setting on your iron and a comb to tease the fibres straight again.
  • Is this a sustainable product?
I hope so! Having studied and taught geography for over a decade, I know the importance of understanding how our Earth and its societies work and ensuring they are there in the future. Sustainability is always in mind. I make small collections and custom pieces so materials are not wasted; responsible consumption matters. My suppliers are mostly small businesses led by women in the UK. I only use packaging which is over 80% made from recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. I also choose to use fibres that are renewable in source (or sometimes recycled or repurposed from previous uses - such as a yarn stash that would otherwise be thrown away).
  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
When confirmed your order will be dispatched in 5 working days, this is due to the small nature of Woven by Eve - it is just Eve! Depending on the delivery option it will then arrive in a further number of days. For details on delivery options, please see the Delivery and Returns Policy at the bottom of this page.
  • Can I return my woven wall hanging?
Please see the returns policy at the bottom of this page.
  • What if my woven wall hanging gets damaged?
Please see the returns policy for information on what to do if you aren't satisfied with your purchase when you receive it. Handmade woven wall hangings are delicate, if they are left alone hanging on a wall they should last a lifetime! However, if the product becomes damaged (fibre pulled, a tear or cut, a knot comes loose etc.) it may be repairable. You can try re-attaching the fibres as they were - working from the back is easiest. Alternatively, the fibre can be unwoven and repurposed elsewhere - to stuff a soft toy, to make a new smaller weaving etc.
